Payment Policy (We do not accept Credit Cards Payments)

  • We require 25% payment at the time of confirming the booking which will be used to pay the advance payment to the hotels.

  • 100% payment should be made for 4* & 5* hotels a week after the booking is confirmed. The 4* & 5* hotel take 100% advance payment

  • We require full payment for flight tickets before the purchase of the tickets.

  • The balance payment must be transferred at least a month and half prior to your arrival in Bhutan.

  • Your Bhutan visa will be applied and approved once the full tour payment is received by the Tourism Council of Bhutan

  • We do not accept cash on arrival


Booking Terms and Conditions

  • Itinerary will be subject to change depending on the availability of the hotels at the time of confirming the tour.

  • Change of hotels will not be entertained once the hotels are confirmed as hotel follow strict cancellation policy. Incase if you change the hotel after arrival, you will have to pay the full hotel charges.

  • We are flexible for day to day wise program.

  • Trekking- If you finish the trek early or not complete the trek as per the confirmed dates, you will have to pay directly for the transport, meals and hotels.

  • Insurance is must for Trekking. Please send the insurance details once the itinerary is confirmed

  • Always keep your belonging at safe places though Bhutan is a save place.

  • Any Emergency evacuation by Helicopter/Vehicle is on your own expense.
    In case of Emergency the additional use of vehicles and ground services will be rendered by Padmotara Travel. Medical treatment in the government hospitals in Bhutan are free of cost, however you will have to pay if you use the private Diagnostic centers and pharmacy.

  • Always arrange a full insurance coverage against possible sickness, injury, or death. In the case of an emergency, the responsibility of TCB and the Tour Operator shall be limited to rendering all possible assistance in arranging evacuation of the member(s) to the nearest medical facility. Any cost thereof will be payable by the person/group concerned.


Cancellation Policy


If confirmed tours are to be cancelled, it is subject to cancellation charges as follows:-

  • 45 days or more prior to arrival date in Bhutan – no charges are levied on the tour cost

  • 30 days or more prior to arrival date in Bhutan – 20% charges on the tour cost

  • 20 days or more prior to arrival date in Bhutan – 30% charges on the tour cost

  • 15 days or prior to arrival date in Bhutan – 50% charges on the tour cost

  • Less than 15 days prior to arrival date in Bhutan – no refund so the entire tour amount is forfeited

Cancellation of flight tickets is subject to the following cancellation and refund rules: -

  • 90% refund for tickets cancelled more than 30 days prior to date of travel.

  • 50% refund for tickets cancelled between 20 and 30 days prior to date of travel.

  • No refund for tickets cancelled within 20 days of arrival date in Bhutan.

  • An administration fee of $25 per ticket will be applicable for all cancelled tickets.

  • No refund is given for passengers who fail to show up for a flight or the “No Show” tickets.

  • Rescheduling is permitted for the No Show tickets with charges, but once rescheduled; tickets are non-refundable and non-re-routable.
